Committees

Five leadership committees have been created to serve as the primary drivers of COPA:

• Education : Focused on consumer satisfaction, education, and emergent issues of patient care.
• Government Affairs: Focused on state and national legislative and regulatory issues.
• Membership & Networking: Focused on all aspects of association membership.
• Nominating: Focused on naming candidates for each director or officer to be elected at the next annual election.
• Payor Relations: Focused on all reimbursement and insurance policy issues.

Each committee establishes annual goals and identifies specific target initiatives aimed at improving both the practitioner and patient experience in California.
